Houseboat for sale in the South of France. Boatshed Midicanals is pleased to offer this former Dutch cargo barge from 1921, converted into a liveaboard houseboat in the sixties. Its previous owner made several technical improvements such as rewiring all electrical systems, adding a charger and inverter, a shower, the boiler, and the water heater... all aimed at enhancing comfort on board.
The current owners have, on the other hand, installed a new kitchen in the wheelhouse instead of keeping the previous one in the front cabin for more conviviality. You will find in my listing a few areas that would need to be addressed soon (fore cabin hatch, paint spots on the decks...) manageable for a good handyman.
The rear deck with its bimini cover offers an ideal and friendly spot during navigation and easy movement for lock maneuvers.
