The Capitainerie of Serre-Ponçon Savines-le-Lac is equipped with an innovative pontoon with variable height. It was installed at the end of July thanks to underwater welding divers.
Smadesep has equipped its new dock with a new 48m long pontoon featuring a 17m gangway. The particularity: access is possible with a maximum tidal range of 6 meters, allowing connection to the maritime offices throughout the season considering the lake's water level fluctuations.
This allows you to easily access, within a limit of 2 hours:
Capitainerie services (regularize a port contract, restrooms, purchase a prepaid card for the careening area, etc.),
Smadesep offices,
The Tribord Panoramique restaurant
or to make a stopover in the seaside town of Savines-le-Lac and its shops.
This pontoon has been designed to be quickly adapted to accommodate passenger boats, such as the one from Saint-Vincent-les-Forts.
It enables the mixed syndicate to advance its ambition of making the lake and its activities accessible to all. In 2021, the pontoon will be equipped with an elevator for people with reduced mobility (a manually operated lift from the gangway along the dock).
