WINTER STORAGE is the time

Here are some tips to properly protect your boat during winter

• Engine desalting: we inject a desalting product into the water circuit. It will be cleaned and this prevents deposit buildup.

• Engine maintenance: It is important to perform annual engine maintenance to optimize your boat's use. Every 3 years, a more thorough service is recommended including replacement of the turbine, thermostat, belts... It is not advisable to wait until a part is defective and causes a breakdown...

• For storage, whether indoors or outdoors, lockers and cabins must be thoroughly cleaned and emptied. Humidity damages upholstery and equipment, so storing in a dry place is recommended. Using a dehumidifier and a protective cover is strongly advised outdoors. Sun, rain, salt, wind, and even the moon are factors that degrade your boat.

• Take advantage of this quieter period for our teams to review upcoming work. Order lead times can be long, so parts orders are optimized accordingly.

• Check your boat's equipment: GPS, fishfinder, VHF, and other electronics. Is your safety gear complete and up to date?

• When resuming boating activities, notify us about fifteen days before the launch to prepare the boat and apply antifouling...
