Cheoy Lee Clipper 42

The Clipper 42 sailboat is a cruising monohull, built by Cheoy Lee Shipyard in Hong Kong. This fixed keel sailboat, rigged as a Ketch with a stay sail, was designed by naval architect A. E. Luders and has a maximum draft of 1.75 m. Production began in 1974, and 50 units of the boat were produced.

General Condition:

This unit is in very good presentation condition; the hull requires polishing, but with this exception, everything is well maintained and ready to sail.

Interior:
The wall linings are in excellent condition, as are the woodwork and upholstery. The floors show some minor defects. The bilge is clean.

Exterior:
Apart from the hull needing polishing, we haven't observed any gelcoat chipping on the hull or deck, nor delamination on the deck. The teak appears to be original but remains in very good condition and requires no work at first glance.

Mechanical:
Engine replaced in 2021 with a new Nanni diesel 50hp, still under warranty for 3 years. It replaced a Perkins 4.108.
