Recent works: In 2023, significant work was completed, including refurbishing the cabin linings, replacing all lamps with LEDs, installing a compliant 220V electrical panel, and changing the gas hose. Additionally, a battery box has been installed, along with an anti-UV strip on the genoa, a 50m chain of 10mm diameter, and a rung for the swimming ladder.
In 2024, a hull maintenance was carried out in May, with the replacement of the standing rigging, updating the electrical harness/antenna in the mast, new LED anchoring and deck lights, a mechanical wind vane, replacing all through-hulls, changing the guard rails, and adding lifelines. The engine was serviced by a professional, who also winterized it. Two new 108Ah batteries were added in September 2024, along with a new Victron Smart solar regulator, a revision of the fridge motor (gas change and thermostat), and a new aft light. Finally, an offshore survival kit for 4 people has been acquired.
These features, combined with the recent works, make the Oceanis 351 from the BENETEAU yard a reliable and attractive sailboat for sailors.
